Quality Assurance

As part of its commitment to quality, Danos is enhancing its quality control and management practices with a Lean Sigma initiative. The Lean Sigma methodology combines the principles of speed, efficiency, and waste reduction from Lean Manufacturing with the lower defect rates, reduced variation, and quality management of Six Sigma. The Lean Sigma management strategy is a tool for reducing costs, increasing efficiency and improving the overall quality of the services we offer. Danos continues to make strides in process improvement by identifying project candidates for future Lean Six Sigma / Quality Improvement projects.

Danos utilizes the ISO 9000 family of standards for ensuring we maintain a quality management system.  As a multinational company, it is imperative our quality standards are consistent.  ISO 9001:2008 sets the international standards but does not dictate how it should be done.  This enables Danos to be flexible in its approach without compromising quality, regardless of country, region or culture.  Danos’s primary focus is on our customers’ satisfaction with the work we perform routinely.  The ISO standards provide a tried and tested framework for taking a systematic approach to managing the company’s processes so that we consistently satisfy or exceed customer expectations.
