The SAFE Company

Safety is Danos & Curole’s number one priority. The company currently has three full time CSPs on staff, and has devised one of the most proactive HS&E management systems in the industry. The highlight of the company’s SH&E program is its behavioral based safety program, WATCH2. This program rewards employees for observing others in the workplace and submitting observation cards that identify both safe and at risk behaviors. The program further encourages employees to intervene when they witness at risk behaviors that could lead to accidents.

SH&E performance has increased by over 97% during the last 20 years, thanks to improvements in the SH&E program coupled with D&C’s stringent hiring process, which is systematic in selecting employees who have a strong aptitude towards safety. The result of this program has been two MMS National SAFE Awards plus two MMS District SAFE Awards in the last three years.
