Training Initiatives Danos & Curole has one of the most comprehensive skills and compliance training programs in the industry, including nearly 300 total training courses. The company offers a wide variety of in-house and outsourced training courses that are pivotal in providing its employees with the necessary skills and required certifications. A brief description of the company’s specially selected training programs is listed below. Core Compliance Training This comprehensive three-day course is mandatory for all new hires and will include modules in Rigger, PEC Awareness, Lockout/Tagout, and Dangers of Pressure, along with 31 additional courses. DEVELOP Production Personnel Training This D&C exclusive skills training program for production personnel was established to help advance production personnel up the skills ladder, as well as to validate the skill level of existing personnel. The course program spans over seven years and has five training levels, from entry level to Lead Operator level. The program encompasses four training methods, which are classroom study, on-the-job training, skill checkpoints, and API profit series books. Core Initiative Training In an effort to ensure that all employees are educated on how to utilize safety tools to help assure zero accidents in the workplace, Danos & Curole developed a “Core Initiative Training” program. Proactive safety tools explained in this program include: Behavioral JSA Process, Intervention, Observations, Near Miss reporting, and the Safety Meeting Process. DOT-OQ Training The Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation for Operator Qualification (OQ) went into effect in October 2002. Danos and Curole currently has two employees working in its Training Department who are qualified proctors for the OQ assessments. D&C works with customers and employees in confirming the covered task required to be performed by our employees for our customers. To date, over 60 employees have been qualified to perform various DOT-OQ covered tasks. Leadership Training Danos & Curole conducts leadership training for its key employees on staff and in the field. This program was designed to develop leaders who can have a positive influence on others and motivate their subordinates and co-workers to achieve high levels of job performance.
