Preserving confidence.

Danos materials management service provides short- and long-term storage, central receiving, surplus management, procurement, barge operations and account management.

Danos' 367.5-acre integrated services complex located in Amelia, La. is an officially recognized Foreign Trade Zone by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Danos' integrated services complex is a subzone of the general purpose FTZ No. 124 in Gramercy, La. The grantee is the Port of South Louisiana.

Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) provide businesses with a way to defer, eliminate or reduce federal import duties when bringing foreign materials into the country. This makes U.S.-based companies more competitive in export markets and encourages multinational firms to establish U.S.-based operations which bring additional foreign investment.

The complex is also a U.S. Coast Guard regulated port facility that allows for the docking of foreign-flagged vessels.
