Danos Names New I&E Division Manager

Danos recently named Alan Broxson, a 35-year veteran of the oil and gas industry, manager of the company’s new Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Division. Earlier this month, Danos acquired I&E company API Control System Solutions (API). Broxson has been charged with leading the API integration into the Danos organization and leveraging the companies’ resources to expand I&E capabilities and offerings.

Prior to joining Danos, Broxson, held senior-level management positions with CAMCO, Baker Hughes, NATCO and Weatherford in the U.S., United Kingdom, Middle East and Asia Pacific areas. “We are so fortunate to have Alan join us to lead our I&E team,” said Paul Danos. “Alan has both the professional qualifications and industry experience to lead Danos’ new I&E Division during this important time, and I look forward to seeing tremendous growth under his leadership.”

With services including I&E construction, commissioning, maintenance, calibration and testing, control system design, system integration, manufacturing and installation, Danos’ new division will be able to provide a broad spectrum of I&E solutions for customers in the oil and gas industry.

“I am looking forward to taking maximum advantage of the unique I&E and control systems market positions and successes of API combined with the well-positioned construction, fabrication and production services elements of the Danos organization,” said Broxson. “With the excellent sales, business development and operations resources of Danos, I am excited about the identifiable growth of API and the contributions that we will provide our clients and project partners.”
