| Danos & Curole is a non-union
corporation and prefers to deal with its employees on a one-to-one
basis, rather than through a third party. We have been non-union
since the company's inception in 1947. We believe it is in our
collective best interests to remain non-union.
Danos & Curole accepts the responsibility to provide
the best possible working conditions, pay, and benefits that
sound business practices allow. It is not necessary for employees
to pay union dues to receive fair treatment. We recognize
that you are our most important asset. You have and will be
given the dignity and respect you deserve.
In the event anyone should come to you and ask you to sign
a union authorization card, we are urging you to refuse to
sign it. You have a legal right not to join and not to belong
to a union. If anyone should approach you about signing a
union authorization card, you have a legal right to first
discuss the matter with your supervisor to obtain all the
facts, since a union card is a legal document which can bind
you and your family.
