Great job to Videographer and Multimedia Coordinator Casey Cazeaux for capturing these shots. Check out Danos’ winning photos below!

As part of its coastal restoration service line, Danos crews deploy artificial reef structures, known as Cajun Coral, designed to promote marine biodiversity and restore underwater habitats. Working from a barge off the Louisiana coast, the team uses precision lifting and placement techniques to install reef units safely and efficiently. These specially engineered structures mimic natural reef formations, providing shelter and spawning grounds for native marine species. The project reflects Danos’ commitment to environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability in the Gulf region, blending innovation conservation, and deep local knowledge to help coastal ecosystems recover and thrive.

At Danos’ facility in Amelia, Louisiana, a team member inspects Cajun Coral reef structures. These reef units are produced using advanced manufacturing techniques designed to replicate natural reef textures and promote marine life colonization. The precision and care behind each piece reflect a blend of engineering innovation and environmental purpose, bringing scalable, science-backed solutions to coastal restoration efforts across the Gulf. Danos’ investment in this technology underscores their commitment to sustainability and the future of marine ecosystems.
