Dusty Bell Demonstrates Values

Danos Deepwater Mechanic Dusty Bell was recognized by Oxy leadership for his safe work and commitment on Oxy’s Lucius asset.

Offshore Area Manager Steven Dutcher said, “Dusty has stepped up and become one of our top mechanics on Lucius and has done so with an excellent focus on safety.”

Dusty recently submitted an observation where he identified an area of concern on an ignition harness which could have potentially led to a unit shutting in. After the hazard was identified, the ignition rail was replaced, and work was restored safely.

“In the past year Dusty has brought a wealth of knowledge to Lucius. His adept knowledge has been shared within the team.  Dusty is a true leader, strong team player and leads by example in all aspects of his daily business, permits and work ethic,” said Offshore Installation Manager Doug Herrmann.
