Employee Development

As Danos lives out its purpose to, “Honor God. Develop great people to solve big challenges for our customers and our communities,” we have partnered with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), as a strategic tool to develop a safe, productive and sustainable workforce.
ABC is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 21,000 members. The organization is recognized as one of the leading organizations representing America's business community and the merit shop construction industry. ABC and its 69 chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. It accomplishes this through utilization of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
NCCER is a national certification used extensively in the downstream market. Each craft can have varying levels of certification from novice, to journeyman, to expert, using competency-based curricula with measurable objectives. NCCER develops standardized curricula for over 70 craft areas with portable credentials that have been used in all 50 states and in 20 countries. We are confident this partnership will help us develop a more competent workforce and provide Danos with an advantage in terms of customer confidence, execution capabilities and growth.
As a member of ABC, Danos can utilize the services of any chapter. For training purposes, each chapter specializes in the development of specific crafts. The Bayou Chapter specializes in carpentry, industrial electrical, instrumentation, pipefitting, welding, core, management education and safety education.
At the end of the day, the most important benefit to Danos is to help create a career path for employees which will advance us toward delivering our purpose to develop great people.
