INC Free at Oxy

Congratulations to the Danos crew working on Oxy’s Nansen platform for their recent INC-free inspection. BSEE spent four days onsite testing PSVs, fire and gas detection, wellheads and paperwork.

BSEE informed operations that our construction team was doing a good job and nothing needed to be addressed. As for the Oxy construction and production teams, the customer has been very pleased with the Danos team since onboarding in June 2021.

The facility has been offline since December 2020. Our construction team consisting of a 14-man crew has been demoing and replacing production piping and valves, drain piping and supports. In addition, the team has been making asset repairs on areas like handrails, grating and stair treads to get prepared for the rig mobilization in November.

*Oil and Gas 101 - Issues of Noncompliance, also known as INCs, are violations of federal regulations that are observed by a BSEE inspector and issued to an operator. Each INC has a specific resulting action and requires a corrective action by the operator receiving the INC.
