Introducing the New danos.com

Introducing the New danos.com

Marketing & Communications Manager

A webpage can tell plenty about a company. It’s the gateway into an organization for the entire world. The last time we updated danos.com was 2012, so it was time for us to turn the page on the old and tell our story in a fresh new way. After a year-long start-and-stop process on our new danos.com website (thanks to the pandemic), we were finally able to pull the trigger and launch that baby this week!

One of our strategic focus areas this year is “technology solutions: leveraging technology to solve challenges for our organization and customers.” Having a well thought out website provides an easily accessible, central location for information; that coupled with clear communication can solve a multitude of challenges. That’s what we’re aiming to do with our new website.

One of the perks of our new website design is that all our Danos and The Pipeline news will now live on one website. So, you won’t have to go to two places to see information. Behind the scenes, the internet search engines will now recognize all that content and direct searchers to Danos, driving more traffic our way! Be sure to update your bookmarks so you’re seeing the most current news.

Another new addition is the added content from our recently published ESG Report that can be found under Sustainability. This report shares our sustainability progress, including work on a wide range of Danos commitments and initiatives to support our employees, customers and the communities where we live and work.

My personal favorites

  • A few of my personal favorite areas on the site are: the big “billboard” images or videos on the home page for that WOW effect;
  • the events section at the bottom of the home page - where we’ll begin to share all the activities that the organization is hosting as well as participating in throughout the year (whenever we can have gatherings!);
  • the team faces under the Our Team header – it’s always nice to see who’s on the other end of the email or phone; and
  • the project portfolios at the bottom of each service line page are pretty cool too!

If you’re still seeing the old site, try clearing your computer cache by pressing F5 and refreshing your screen.

What we need from you: Sharing is caring.

  1. Share the site. If you see a page that provides information to better serve our customer or a job opening that a friend might be interested in, share the webpage link.
  2. Share our news. If you come across a story that involves your team or your customer account, brag a little! There are easy share buttons on each of the articles. Share on social media or via email. Everyone LOVES hearing good news.
  3. Share your two cents. After you visit our new website, poke around all the pages, and help us continue to improve by giving us some feedback or simply showing some love in a quick 3-minute survey. Access the survey on the Contact Us page any time, but don’t wait too long. It’ll only be there until the end of August.

A website is never really “done,” and of course we’ll continue to grow, make updates and improve as time goes on, but for now we’re on to our next technology solution project…We can’t wait to introduce you to “Thelma.”
