Oxy Recognition

Oxy has recognized several of our Danos team members that work on the Gunnison and Lucius assets.

Please help me in recognizing the following Carrol Hebert, Rusty Mayard, Martin Richard and Gerald Ardoin:

Carrol Hebert- production operator on Lucius.

Customers Steve Dutcher (operations area manager) and Kelly Bradley (offshore installation manager) recognized Carrol for helping the team safely reach a “resolution with abnormally high dew point issues on Lucius.” Carrol was part of a team that came up with the probable cause that led to a safe resolution.

Rusty Mayard- mechanic on Gunnison.

The customer recognized Rusty for his outstanding efforts in troubleshooting an oil leak on a turbine generator. Dustin Prudhomme said the following: “Not only was this handed to him in the middle of a crew change he remained positive and delivered all requests from vendors and office personnel along with taking care of his daily task. With his endless efforts of troubleshooting, he found the oil leak which saved us from getting a technician out and eased a lot of people’s minds from thinking we might have to swap out an engine.”

Martin Richard- ballast control operator on Gunnison
Oxy recognized Martin for his efforts on an issue that came up on his time off. Nancy Chafe (operations area manager) said: “On his time off, Martin provided invaluable ballast control support for a tricky ballast operation beyond our normal operating manual. Martin performed very detailed walk-downs, drawing on prior lessons learned and he actively participated in multiple risk assessments to ensure a safe and very successful operation. This was well beyond his normal duties supporting West GOM!”

Gerald Ardoin- production operator on Gunnison
Gerald was recognized for his recent safety performance. TJ Landreneau (OIM) stated: “Gerald continues to excel in hazard identification, mitigation and more importantly his use of SWA. Additionally, Gerald’s recent work on two fire dampeners played a vital role in keeping two-quarters buildings in service. Gerald, thank you for your safety performance and for being a vital part of the GN Team. Your efforts are noted and appreciated, sir.”

We appreciate each employee's hard work and contributions to the Oxy team and their daily safety mindset!
