Valve Overhaul

Recently a customer requested a complete overhaul on a valve sent to the Danos team from offshore. Danos' valve team was able to machine the non-replaceable damaged parts to save the customer from replacing the entire valve.

The team disassembled every part of the valve and gear operator, then cleaned and inspected all internal parts. Afterwards, they replaced any old and damaged parts, then rebuilt the valve from the ground up, making it like factory new again.

The valve was put through hydrotesting to ensure it held properly. It passed all tests and is now off the get a three-coat paint applied, per the customer’s specifications. It will be headed back offshore and back in service soon.
