Danos Names 2020 Employees of the Year

Danos has named two employees to receive the company’s most prestigious honors for 2020. Case Manager Frances Kosak is the Staff Employee of the Year, and Logistics Coordinator Mary Perez is the Dwain “Hog” Carrell Field Employee of the Year.

“Both Frances and Mary embody the Danos purpose by working to “honor God and develop great people to solve big challenges for our customers and our communities,” said CEO Paul Danos. “They represent our company values of safety, integrity, respect, service and improvement every day, and we are proud to have them on our team.”

Kosak has over 20 years of experience with emergency medical services, incident management and case management, including ten years with the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services. She joined Danos in 2012 and is a two-time Employee of the Year nominee. A native of New Orleans, Frances graduated from the University of New Orleans and is a licensed healthcare provider, certified workers’ comp professional and licensed paralegal. She currently lives in Terrytown, La., and has three children and three grandchildren.

A two-time employee of the year finalist, Perez began her career with Danos in 2003 and has 37 years of experience in the energy industry. A pioneer in offshore logistics, she began her career as a roustabout after graduating from Fisher High School in Lafitte, La. Perez is a native of Barataria and currently lives in Morgan City with her wife Susan. They have three children and two grandchildren.
